IKON IMG-24 Description
For lasting durability in busy kitchens, the IKON IMG-24 countertop griddle features a stainless steel body with double-walled insulated sides. To shield the surrounding area from grease splatter, this unit has back and side splash guards that are fully welded to the 3⁄4-inch-thick polished steel griddle plate. This unit also features a cool-to-the-touch stainless steel front edge to minimize burn risks. Because its 3⁄4-inch removable grease drawer is constructed with a weep hole and baffle, operators can quickly determine when the trap needs to be emptied and cleaned. This griddle measures 24 inches wide by 342/5 inches deep by 151⁄2 inches high and is mounted on adjustable stainless steel legs for stabilization. To protect countertops from marking, these legs are capped with nonskid feet.
To make precise temperature changes, the IKON IMG-24 griddle features two adjustable manual gas control knobs. Its front-lit pilot light is simple to access for maintenance, and for proper air circulation, the back of the cabinet features a ventilation flue. With its two U-shaped burners, this unit provides thorough, even heat to its 24-inch-wide by 201/2-inch-deep cooking surface; each burner outputs 30,000 BTU for a total of 60,000 BTU. While this griddle is powered by natural gas, it comes equipped with a conversion kit for use with liquid propane.
