Southbend S48AC Description

The Southbend S48AC NG S-series restaurant range comes with eight 28,000 BTU open burners. Rugged cast iron grates above those burners distribute heat evenly. Removable crumb drawers catch debris and grease under the burners so cleaning is easier. At the front of the unit, a 4-inch rail helps protect operators from burning themselves and gives users a place to set pans or plates while they plate food.

A 35,000 BTU convection oven is heated by a U-shaped burner that ensures heat is evenly distributed through the oven cavity so dishes are cooked consistently. If the pilot light goes out, the flame failure safety device on the oven shuts off the flow of gas. An on/off switch allows you to use the equipment as a standard oven instead of a convection oven. The other side of the equipment's base has an aluminized cabinet base without doors. The Southbend S48AC NG S-series restaurant range is heated with natural gas.
