Southbend HDG-18 Description
Measuring 18 inches wide, the Southbend HDG-18 commercial griddle has one 30,000-BTU burner, which operators can select the temperature of by turning the control knob. When users change the heat level, the thermostat senses the change and adjusts the burner heat to reach and maintain the set level. Eliminating hot spots, the unit has an even heat pattern and operates between 200 and 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the polished rolled steel griddle plate is 1 inch thick, it retains heat and will not warp over time, while splash guards on the sides and rear contain splatter, keeping food particles off other surfaces. Its stainless and aluminized steel construction provides strength and corrosion resistance.
