Southbend HDG-18-M Description
Operating with natural gas, this Southbend HDG-18-M countertop griddle distributes heat evenly to eliminate cold zones, ensuring food is cooked efficiently. It has a single U-style burner with a runner tube that is controlled manually, and to produce consistent heat, an electronic battery spark ignition quickly ignites.
The 18-inch by 24-inch cooking surface of the Southbend HDG-18-M countertop griddle is constructed of a 1-inch-thick steel griddle plate. Its durable stainless steel front, sides, and vent are quick to wipe down, while the sides are reinforced and insulated to retain heat. To minimize spills and keep countertops clean, a 5-inch-tall rear splash and 4-inch-tall side splashes are attached to this unit. This griddle remains stable on uneven surfaces with its 4-inch, adjustable legs.
