Southbend 4606AD-2RR Description
On one end, the Southbend 4603AD-2RR gas range has a raised griddle, while the other end has five burners. This raised griddle measures 24 inches wide and has a smooth, 1⁄2-inch-thick plate with manual control knobs. On the burner end, three star burners heat evenly in the front and two Pyromax burners provide heat in the back. Waste falls into drip trays as the user cooks on the range and a plating rail prevents users from leaning into the hot surface.
To withstand daily use, this Southbend 4603AD-2RR commercial gas range is constructed of stainless steel on the front and sides. Its base hosts two different ovens—one standard and one convection. The standard oven comes with one rack and can hold a sheet pan in either direction. Although smaller, the convection oven heats food more evenly because a fan moves heat throughout the interior. Both ovens have rounded corners and a slick, porcelain-enameled finish to expedite interior cleaning.
