Southbend 4601DD-4TR Description
For flexibility, the Southbend 4601DD-4TR commercial range has two burners and a 48-inch griddle on top, which is great for kitchens that cook many different products. Positioned to the right of the burners, the griddle has a 1-inch-thick plate that resists warping and evenly distributes heat. Because the plate sides are raised, they contain crumbs and liquids. A front rail on this range holds plates while users finish dishes, and the flue riser directs excess heat to the hood ventilation system above the unit.
Since the Southbend 4601DD-4TR two-burner gas range with griddle has two standard ovens in its base, it can be used for baking and roasting as well. These ovens do not have convection fans, so they do not distribute heat as evenly, though they still work well for finishing dishes. Each oven chamber has one rack and accommodates full-size sheet pans positioned front-to-back or side-to-side.
