Mesa MGL14E Description
As many as 14 rifles can be stored in the Mesa MGL14E Lite weapon safe's interior, which measures 181⁄5 inches wide by 15 inches deep by 52 inches high. The full-length, adjustable shelf accommodates ammo, handguns, jewelry, collectibles, or money. Electronics can be charged with the three electrical sockets and two USB ports. Because the interior is fully upholstered, it minimizes scratching and marking risk during storage.
The safe's electronic lock is powered with a 9-volt battery and can store one user code that can be changed as desired. If multiple incorrect codes are entered within a short time span, it will lock out the unauthorized user to deter further tampering; and in case of battery shortage users can access the safe with the concealed emergency key. The 3⁄4-inch-diameter steel bolts are positioned deep inside the safe's body to ensure the door is shut securely when locked.
Great for defending against burglary attacks and fires, the Mesa MGL14E gun safe can withstand a two-story drop and 30-minute exposure to 1,200-degree-Fahrenheit heat. This all-steel unit is lined with fire-resistant material and features a 1⁄8-inch-thick steel layer atop the lock and handle. To protect the lock from tampering, it's fitted with a drill-resistant hard plate and punch-activated relocking system. This 20-inch-wide by 20-inch-deep by 55-inch-high unit can be secured to the floor with the four pre-drilled anchor holes.
