"This is an amazing dutch oven, and made in the USA. Cooks beautifully. I would not waste the money on La Creuset or any other expensive import. The French ovens all have lids that rock and don't seal properly. This one sits perfectly. If the lid rocks, it isn't a dutch oven. Its basically a very heavy pot. My next purchase is their enamel coated dutch oven. Same amazing construction quality."
"This product is a great item that is very versatile and retains heat very well. What also make this item great is that its like having a large mixing bowl you can cook in. I also own an array of various size lodge skillets. Cast iron is great to cook with. I find myself reaching for this dutch oven more than the skillets just because you can cook almost anything in it. Also, when mixing my ingredients, it's more difficult to keep everything in the skillet than with the dutch oven. The only con; when you're stove-top cooking on medium to high heat, you may have to wait 10-15 minutes for it to reach the temperature you want. However, I believe that's partially due to the quality of my stove-top. Also, some people may find cast iron to be a bit on the heavy side."
