Made of silicone, the Lodge ASHHM11 mini hot handle holder protects user hands from heat as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Cast iron cookware gets hot on all surfaces, so this hot handle will help prevent burns. Measuring 45⁄16 inches long, it fits on the handles of small cast iron cookware. Though it isn't safe over a direct flame or in the oven, it can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
