With a capacity of 6 quarts, the Tablecraft CW40168 chafer dish keeps food in a buffet line at an appetizing serving temperature. It's heated by fuel contained in a fuel holder beneath the holding chamber. A water pan and steam pan also are included with this unit.

The Tablecraft CW40168 chafer dish has a roll-top lid that users can open to access its contents. This lid opens a full 180 degrees and locks open at 30 degrees. The lid closes slowly to reduce noise from slamming it shut.
