Able to hold precooked foods prior to serving, the FWE HLC-14 Handy Line heated holding cabinet's radiant heat system generates temperatures from 90 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, suiting a wide range of holding requirements. Because the unit's top, back, bottom, sides, and doors are insulated with high-density fiberglass, temperatures are less likely to fluctuate when stored in cool or warm temperatures or when the doors are opened for short periods of time. If temperatures drop, the low-temperature alarm alerts the operator to prevent damage to product. Temperatures are simple to adjust with the electronic controls; the digital display shows cabinet temperatures legibly.

The FWE HLC-14 holding cabinet is equipped with 14 stainless steel racks that accommodate deep and shallow 12-inch by 20-inch pans, GN 1/1 pans, or 18-inch by 13-inch by 1¹/₂-inch trays. Food can be organized in the two compartments, and the cabinet's reach-in layout enables operators to load and retrieve pans directly. A field-reversible door built onto each section's front has a horizontal, magnetic workflow handle. This stainless steel unit resists rust and corrosion throughout heavy use. Because it measures 34 inches wide by 26¹/₂ inches deep by 30³/₄ inches high, it can be stored underneath a counter to save space in crowded kitchens.
