Vulcan VICM48 Description
To heat product uniformly, the Vulcan VICM48 gas infrared cheese melter is equipped with two heavy-duty, pre-mix atmospheric infrared burners. A standing pilot system, using LP gas, is integrated into the unit, enabling users to turn it on easily. During cooking, foods can be placed on the chrome-plated grid rack, which can be raised or lowered in three different positions to achieve desired results. Its interior measures 46.20 inches wide by 15.08 inches deep by 10.20 inches high to support different food widths. Beneath the rack, two spillage pans collect runoff, such as crumbs and grease; these pans can be removed and cleaned to maintain a sanitary unit.
The Vulcan VICM48 cheese melter's front, top, bottom, and sides are made of stainless steel, and its welded chassis has a stainless and aluminized steel construction. Together, these components ensure a durable unit that's structured to endure regular use. Measuring 48 inches wide by 18.61 inches deep by 23.03 inches high, this unit can be attached to the wall with the included wall-mount panel, increasing countertop space.
