Vulcan VICM48 Description
To withstand high-volume applications, the Vulcan VICM48 gas infrared cheese melter's front, top, bottom, and sides are made of stainless steel. To ensure sturdy support, its chassis has a welded stainless and aluminized steel construction. Wall-mounting brackets, included with purchase, enable the user to attach the unit to the wall, saving counterspace. Overall, it measures 48 inches wide by 18.61 inches deep by 23.03 inches high and has an interior structure that's 46.20 inches wide by 15.08 inches deep by 10.20 inches high.
Heated with natural gas, the Vulcan VICM48 gas cheese melter is equipped with two pre-mix atmospheric infrared burners to cook product efficiently. Its standing pilot ignition system is accessible to streamline startup. Food can be placed on the chrome-plated grid rack, which has an open wire design to encourage uniform airflow around product. The rack can be raised or lowered to be closer or further from the burners, depending on desired cooking outcomes. Beneath the rack, two full-width spillage pans catch crumbs, grease, and food particles; they can be removed for cleaning.
