Vulcan VCH8 Description

The Vulcan VCH8 half-size cook-and-hold cabinet has a single deck designed to support eight sheet pans or 16 steam table pans. By raising or lowering the universal tray slides on the 112-inch centers, operators can control how food cooks. Knob controls enable users to set the cooking time, cooking temperature, and holding temperature. Good for rethermalizing and keeping food warm prior to serving, the maximum cooking temperature is 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and the maximum holding temperature is 250 degrees Fahrenheit. To support browning product, a low-speed fan helps hot air flow freely, and the unit is fully insulted to retain heat.

Users can control the unit through the digital LED display panel on the Vulcan VCH8 cook-and-hold cabinet, which provides information on cook time, hold temperature, cook temperature, and cabinet temperatures. As many as nine custom programs can be implemented on the panel for streamlined meal preparation. Its interior and exterior have a 20-gauge, integrated stainless steel construction that’s designed for commercial use and daily wear. Its door latch and hinges are secured in place on the internal frame to ensure smooth operation. For cleaning or catering purposes, this oven can be transported on its 5-inch casters; two of these casters have a swivel and brake mechanism, and the other two are rigid to keep the unit in place. Ideal for small- or medium-sized applications, this unit has a 26-inch-wide by 37-inch-deep by 4412-inch-high structure.
