Vulcan RRE48E Description
The Vulcan RRE48E RRE-E Series heavy-duty electric griddle is made primarily of stainless steel for durable, high-volume use. Its 3⁄4-inch-thick griddle plate uses Rapid Recovery™ technology to quickly reheat for sporadic use. Mounted at the front of the griddle, four thermostatic controls work in tandem with tubular incoloy heating elements to individually warm 12-inch-wide sections of the 48-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep griddle plate so several foods can be cooked at one time on the plate. Because this griddle has a temperature range between 200 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit, operators can simply reheat ingredients or cook foods thoroughly.
After cooking, the Vulcan RRE48E electric griddle's stainless steel exterior can be wiped down, and grease is trapped and drained into the front grease trough and drawer for simple grease removal. Back and tapered side splashes help contain hot oil inside the griddle, reducing risk of grease splashing onto the counter for a streamlined cleanup process. The griddle is lifted on four adjustable legs, so the open space beneath it can be sanitized frequently.
