Vulcan RRE48E Description
The Vulcan RRE48E RRE-E Series heavy-duty electric griddle is equipped with four thermostatic controls—each of which heat a 12-inch-wide cooking plate section. Incoloy heating elements warm the 3⁄4-inch-thick composite Rapid Recovery™ griddle plate for quick recovery results. Its 48-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep griddle plate is thin enough for fast reheating, so it's a good piece of equipment for establishments with sporadic griddle-based orders. To simultaneously support various cooking methods, this unit's snap-action thermostats adjust from 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Chrome knob guards shield the thermostat controls, while cycling lights accompany each control to indicate when surfaces are hot.
Made primarily of durable stainless steel, the Vulcan RRE48E electric griddle is engineered for long-term use. Its front, sides, splash guards, and griddle plate have stainless steel surfaces for quick cleanup. The four adjustable legs lift the unit so users can clean hard-to-reach places, ensuring a sanitary work space. Grease is contained inside the griddle with three splashes—one in the back and two tapered on the sides. This unit's front grease trough funnels used oil and grease into the grease drawer for simple removal.
