Vulcan HEG48E Description
The Vulcan HEG48E HEG-E Series heavy-duty electric griddle cooks four different foods simultaneously on its 1/2-inch-thick steel griddle plate. By using a separate thermostatic control for each 12-inch-wide griddle section, this griddle enables operators to input individual temperature settings on the thermostats to support different foods, making it a good choice for medium-traffic cafes and restaurants. Designed with a temperature range from 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, the griddle can reheat, grill, and thoroughly cook foods. It's heated with two incoloy heating elements, and the griddle's thin steel plate warms up quickly. This griddle is 48 inches wide and 24 inches deep, so it works well for medium-sized kitchens.
Safety features are built into the Vulcan HEG48E commercial electric griddle to improve the user experience. Heavy-duty chrome thermostat knob guards shield the thermostat controls to prevent unwanted adjustments. Rear and side splash guards work together to keep hot oil and grease contained within the griddle's barriers, and the grease trough and drawer simplify grease removal for quick maintenance. Made of stainless steel, the unit is durable enough to endure common kitchen wear, and it provides a stable cooking surface with its four adjustable legs.
