Vulcan 1024 Description
Designed for countertop placement, the Vulcan 1024 cheese melter measures 27 inches wide by 171⁄8 inches deep by 191⁄2 inches high. Its top, sides, fasteners, and interior are constructed of stainless steel—a strong, corrosion-resistant metal that supports rigorous use. For precise temperature adjustment, it features solid-state controls, and a red indicator light alerts users that the unit is in operation. In addition to melting cheese on finished sandwiches, this unit can be used to caramelize desserts or toast bread.
To preserve heat, the Vulcan 1024 cheese melter is built with insulation in its top, sides, and back. Its rack adjusts to four positions, and when product is placed on it, the unit heats automatically. Ensuring efficient, even heat distribution, it features quartz infrared tube heating elements. To power down the unit quickly when it's not in use, operators can flip the on/off switch.
