To improve functionality, the top of this Centerline by Traulsen CLUC-48R-SD-WTLL compact worktop refrigerator is made of corrosion- and rust-resistant stainless steel and is furnished with a 4-inch-high backsplash that can contain messes to streamline cleaning tasks. Small pieces of equipment can be stored on the top section's 48³/₁₆-inch-width, and users can carry out food preparation tasks. Beneath the worktop, a two-section refrigerated cabinet is equipped with four adjustable, epoxy-coated shelves that can each hold 150 pounds. Two swing-out doors are built onto the cabinet and can be secured at a 105-degree open position to ease loading and unloading.

The Centerline by Traulsen CLUC-48R-SD-WTLL worktop refrigerator measures 48¹/₄ inches wide by 31¹/₂ inches deep by 38¹/₁₆ inches high and is furnished with casters that are rigid; two can be locked for stability. To ensure product is held from 32 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit, it operates with a rear-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system that uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and the cabinet is insulated with 2³/₈-inch-thick, foamed-in-place polyurethane. The temperatures are adjustable via the electronic controls that have a three-digit LED display to provide temperature readouts in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
