To ensure ingredients are held at safe temperatures until the food preparation process, the Centerline by Traulsen CLPT-4818-SD-LL Mega Top compact prep table has a self-contained, rear-mounted refrigeration system that keeps the cabinet's base between 32 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. The cabinet and its two solid doors are insulated with high-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane to minimize temperature spikes when the unit is stored in hot ambient temperatures. A built-in LED temperature display helps users monitor and adjust temperatures to achieve desired results.

The Centerline by Traulsen CLPT-4818-SD-LL prep table's doors can be secured at 105-degree open positions to streamline product retrieval and loading. Inside the cabinet, two heavy-duty, epoxy-coated shelves per section hold as much as 150 pounds and can be raised or lowered. The unit's top section has cutouts that come with 18 sixth-size pans with a 4-inch depth. To protect prepared ingredients from potential contaminants, the top lid can be rolled down, establishing a barrier. Overall, this stainless steel and anodized aluminum unit measures 48⁹/₁₆ inches wide by 35³/₄ inches deep by 44⁹/₁₆ inches high and is furnished with braking and swivel casters.
