Prepared ingredients can be stored within close reach and at safe temperatures with the Centerline by Traulsen CLPT-3615-SD-LR Mega Top sandwich prep table's refrigerated base. The unit is cooled to a range from 32 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit via its self-contained, rear-mounted refrigeration system that uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Because the cabinet and the front doors are insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane, it helps prevent temperature spikes that could damage ingredients. Its two-section, anodized aluminum cabinet interior has four epoxy-coated shelves, which can hold 150 pounds each. To accommodate different product heights, the shelves can be raised or lowered.

The Centerline by Traulsen CLPT-3615-SD-LR compact prep table's top has built-in cut-outs that can hold 15 sixth-size food pans with 4-inch depths, which are sold separately. An 8-inch cutting board is positioned in front of the cut-outs to streamline food preparation and can be removed for cleaning. The built-in lid can be rolled down to cover the food pans, protecting them from contaminants when the unit isn't being used. The exterior is made of stainless steel and measures 36⁹/₁₆ inches wide by 35³/₄ inches deep by 44 inches high, overall. To enable mobility for maintenance and transportation, it's equipped with 4-inch casters.
