The Centerline by Traulsen CLPT-3610-SD-LR sandwich prep table uses a self-contained, rear-mounted refrigeration system that maintains a temperature range between 32 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Users can adjust temperatures on the LED display controller, while the cabinet and its doors are built with 2³/₈-inch-thick, foamed-in-place polyurethane to reduce temperature fluctuations. The unit's exterior is made of stainless steel and its interior has an anodized aluminum construction. Overall, the unit measures 36⁹/₁₆ inches wide by 32³/₄ inches deep by 44 inches high and is furnished with casters that facilitate maneuvering and braking.

Two solid doors encase the Centerline by Traulsen CLPT-3610-SD-LR prep table's interior cabinet and can be held open in a 105-degree position to ease product loading, retrieval, and inventory checks. The two-section cabinet has two adjustable, epoxy-coated shelves per section that each can hold 150 pounds. On top of the cabinet, the cut out comes with 10 sixth-size pans, and users can chop ingredients on the 12-inch-deep cutting board, which can be removed for cleaning. A roll-down lid closes on the top section, functioning as a barrier when the unit isn't in use.
