The Centerline by Traulsen CLBM-49F-HS-LR reach-in freezer operates with a thermal expansion valve and a self-contained, bottom-mounted refrigeration system. It maintains temperatures between -1 and 2 degrees Fahrenheit using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. To prevent unwanted temperature changes, the cabinet is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane, and the doors self-close when employees leave them open. For one-handed access, the doors can be propped open at 110 degrees.

Providing 43.88 cubic feet of interior space, the Centerline by Traulsen CLBM-49F-HS-LR two-section freezer measures 55³/₄ inches wide by 33 inches deep by 82 inches high. To ensure uniform cooling, the six shelves are made of wire, which enables air to flow through their gaps. They're epoxy coated to resist corrosion, and for durability, the front is made of stainless steel, while the interior and sides are aluminum.
