The Federal VRSS6060S Vision self-serve refrigerated merchandiser can display soft drinks, premade meals, packaged snacks, and other refrigerated items in convenience stores, airports, cafeterias, and other high-traffic areas. This 591⁄4-inch-wide by 33-inch-deep by 60-inch-tall unit flaunts a black interior and shelves; the exterior frame can be customized in laminate or paint colors. For an eye-catching accent, its two side panels are made of tempered glass and feature square edges. Its 23.39-cubic-foot interior is comprised of a stainless steel display deck and two 551⁄4-inch-wide by 1663⁄100-inch-deep shelves that can be situated in a flat position or at a 10-degree downward slant. To promote impulse sales, its LED top light illuminates the interior, drawing customer attention. For stability on sloped or uneven flooring, this unit rests on adjustable leg levelers.
To ease installation, the Federal VRSS6060S high-profile merchandiser has a self-contained refrigeration system. This unit uses R449a refrigerant to produce and maintain temperatures from 38 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure contents are held at safe temperatures. Staff can adjust temperature with the electronic temperature control and monitor it with the digital thermometer. During non-business hours, a night curtain can be placed over the open front to minimize energy loss. To prevent ice accumulation, it's built with an on-demand defrost mechanism. Because this unit intakes air from the front and can release air from the front or back, it's safe to install against a wall to fit specific area layouts.
