Federal SSRC-5052 Description
Constructed with versatility in mind, the Federal SSRC-5052 open-air cooler comes with two delineated tiers: one for larger products like sandwiches and salads, and one for smaller items like desserts and baked goods. Each section operates individually with its own control panel, lights, and thermometer, and the top one can even be disconnected from the unit’s refrigeration with its baffle system. It uses an R-449A refrigeration unit and utilizes a rust-resistant evaporator coil to reduce liquid build up and hold the unit between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Its internal components are quickly accessible from the rear.
The Federal SSRC-5052 reach-in cooler measures 50 inches wide by 34 inches deep by 52 inches high and is made from steel with a simple black color scheme. This protects the unit from minor damage like denting and scratching and allows it to blend in with most established storefront aesthetics. It has a series of glass panels along its side so customers can look in from multiple angles, and its rear doors slide open for access. To maximize the interior space, each tier comes with adjustable wire shelves.
