Operators can modify case temperatures with the adjustable temperature control, while the thermometer provides an accurate temperature readout. For accessibility during maintenance, the refrigeration components can be serviced from the rear.

This bakery case measures 50¹³⁄₁₀₀ inches wide by 35³¹⁄₁₀₀ inches deep by 48 inches high and can be connected with other units to extend display options in high-traffic bakeries, grocery stores, and cafes. For a neutral appearance that matches common decorative themes, its sports a white steel base with black trim and a white display deck and shelves. This case is positioned on leg levers that can be raised or lowered to stabilize the unit on uneven flooring.

The Federal SGR5048 dessert case is built with two rear sliding glass doors to streamline product insertion and retrieval. Its top, sides, ends, doors, and sloped front are made of clear, tempered thermopane glass with LED lights that highlight merchandise. Its four-level interior features a scratch- and rust-resistant display deck and three tiers of wire shelving; altogether, these levels can accommodate eight 18-inch by 26-inch bakery pans and four 9-inch by 26-inch bakery pans. To support different desserts, the shelves can be tilted, raised, or lowered. For thorough cleaning, the front glass can be tilted out, and the display deck, shelves, shelf supports, shelf lights, and doors can be removed.
