To match other pieces of equipment in continuous case lineups, the Federal SGR3642 refrigerated bakery case is built with a tempered thermopane front glass, top, ends, and doors and sports a steel base with a black laminate finish and black trim. The straight front glass is subtly sloped to enhance product presentation, and it can be tilted out for simplified cleaning. This 36¹³⁄₁₀₀-inch-wide by 35³¹⁄₁₀₀-inch-deep by 42-inch-high unit is positioned on leg levelers that can be raised or lowered to stabilize the unit on irregular surfaces. Its full-service design features two rear sliding doors so staff can retrieve customer purchases to enhance customer and employee interaction while reducing theft and product contamination risks.

This dessert case's display levels include two tiers of white wire shelves and a scratch- and rust-resistant display deck. As many as three 18-inch by 26-inch and three 9-inch by 26-inch bakery pans can be displayed, and to accommodate differently sized products, the shelves can be raised, lowered, or tilted in three positions for flexible presentation. LED lights illuminate the top and shelves to enhance product display and capture customer attention, increasing impulse buys. During idle periods, the lights can be turned off with the accessible light switch. For thorough cleaning, the doors, display deck, shelves, shelf supports, and shelf lights can be removed.

The Federal SGR3642 bakery case operates with R513A refrigerant to generate and maintain temperatures between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. To preserve product freshness, its oversized coil and low-velocity fan system generates humidity, upholding product quality. Staff can monitor temperature with the thermometer and make adjustments with the accessible temperature control. This self-contained refrigeration system includes a condensate evaporator, condenser air filter, and a simple-to-clean, rust-resistant insulated evaporator coil compartment. Refrigeration components can be accessed from the back for accessible servicing.
