Vollrath R38716 Description
Accommodating a wide array of fruits, vegetables, and other chilled product, the Vollrath R38716 cold station holds four food pans. Its six-inch-deep well is made of stainless steel to resist corrosion, and its work surface is made of the same resilient material. The work surface is useful for slicing, seasoning, and preparing food to serve it. To remove water from the well, it has a one-inch drain.
The Vollrath R38716 cold station has a breath guard to prevent customers from sneezing, blowing, or coughing into food as they grab it. It is cooled by non-flammable R513A refrigerant, and foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation keeps temperatures cool so food stays fresh and tasty. To streamline transport of the cold station in buffet environments, it’s mounted on casters that can lock for stabilization.
