For additional durability and corrosion resistance, it's encased in galvanized steel, and to contain condensation and leaks, it features a full-perimeter drip edge and gasket. Overall, this unit measures 26 inches long by 81¹⁄₄ inches wide and requires a countertop cutout of 25¹/₄ inches long by 80¹⁄₂ inches wide for installation.

To keep deli meats, cheeses, and produce cool, the Vollrath FC-4C-06120-N drop-in refrigerator utilizes R513A refrigerant and is fully insulated with high-density polyurethane foam. Its 20-inch-long by 75⁷⁄₈-inch-wide by 6⁵/₈-inch-deep well is lined with refrigeration coils, and to protect exposed product from ambient temperatures, it features a 3-inch recess that provides a cold air blanket. To clean after service, this unit has a 1-inch-diameter drain, and to ease maintenance, its condenser is housed beneath the unit.
