The Vollrath CT4H-220550 conveyor toaster works well in mid-sized establishments with several bread products on their menus. Cooking times can be cut in half with top and bottom toasting, increasing production and serving times. Users can properly cook different types of bread with built-in variable speed and heat controls. After products are placed inside the 3-inch-tall product entry opening, they're loaded onto the 101⁄2-inch-wide conveyor, which can hold two slices of bread. Forced convection toasting uses warm air produced by quartz heaters to maintain a hot environment for back-to-back use. A fan control switch gauges temperatures during use, and if temperatures are out of the acceptable range, a fan turns on to cool the toaster, preventing overheating and fires.
Many of the Vollrath CT4H-220550 horizontal conveyor toaster's inner workings are self-preserving. The drive system and bearings are maintenance free because they don't require lubrication.
