Vollrath CBGHD-18 Description
The Vollrath CBGHD-18 charbroiler features three 20,000 BTU burners placed every 6 inches. Cast iron radiants above the burners promote even heating to the griddle, enabling operators to cook fish, chicken, steak, and other meats. Users can adjust the plate using the angled adapter bar for slower cooking and fewer grease flare ups. The plate is fully reversible with a narrow side for fatty meats and a wide side for delicate fish. Three metal control knobs on the front of the unit provide user-adjustable settings. The pilot light has a front access hole to increase or decrease the flame intensity to the burners. This unit is natural gas powered, but ships with a conversion kit to be converted to LP gas if necessary.
This Vollrath CBGHD-18 charbroiler with reversible grill plates has 43/8-inch-high backsplashes and tapered side splashes to keep surrounding work areas clean. The drip tray accumulates grease and oil and can be removed for cleaning. The stainless steel structure and casing can be wiped down for simple cleaning. The unit sits on 4-inch legs for stability and security on countertops.
