"The lid is stamped with Vollrath Brand, Made in USA and NSF, and it shows the pride of an American icon for cookware. Very thick stainless steel that is well-finished and with professional appearing spot welds that hold the recessed handle in place. Recessed handle is nice because you can stack these with the lids on the pots. No plastic to go bad, screws to rust or pieces to fall off or constantly tighten."
