To avoid accidental temperature adjustment, the unit's controls are recessed. By keeping the covers closed, maintaining water levels, and stirring soups regularly, operators can maintain temperatures above 150 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure food is warm for serving. Its thermoset fiber-reinforced resin well self-insulates to preserve generated heat and maximize energy efficiency, and the stainless steel exterior remains cool to the touch during heating.
