Vollrath 702175 Description
Ideal for sauteing mirepoix or sofrito, the Vollrath 702175 Tribute® saute pan boasts a 7 1⁄2-quart capacity. Its cooking surface flaunts a natural finish and measures 14 inches in diameter by 3 31⁄100 inches high. For versatility, it's three-ply body is designed with a 3004 aluminum core, an 18/8 stainless steel interior, and an 18/0 stainless steel exterior that's compatible with gas, electric, or induction ranges. To maintain durability over time, users should wash this piece by hand. So hands are protected from burns, the pan's handle is made of heat-resistant silicone, which is safe for consistent exposure to temperatures as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit and intermittent exposure to temperatures as high as 600 degrees Fahrenheit. For increased structural support, this handle is attached to the base with the EverTite™ riveting system.
