A great choice for high-end buffet applications, the Vollrath 38716 cold food station has an eye-catching black base and can be relocated using its four casters. Each of these casters includes locks to secure the unit so it won’t roll while customers are grabbing food. Its 60-inch width is large enough to accommodate four full-size food pans, which are cooled with ice and kept chilly with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation.
The Vollrath 38716 cold food station has a resilient stainless steel work surface that offers plenty of room for employees to prepare and season food. This material also resists corrosion, so it can be used in moist environments without sustaining damage. When it’s time to drain water from the well, a one-inch drain facilitates the process. To prevent contamination when multiple people grab food from the pans, the unit has a breath guard that protects food from coughs and sneezes.
