Able to support four standard-size food pans, the Vollrath 38205 ServeWell® SL hot food table includes five food wells. Made of thermoset fiber-reinforced resin, the wells are self-insulated, resist rusting and pitting, and can be easily cleaned because of their nonmetallic construction. Their wide lips protect the table surface from dripping product. Accommodating specific temperature needs for different foods, operators adjust individual well temperatures with thermostatic heat controls. Inside the unit, dome heating elements direct heat into the wells, while their nonstick surface resist scale buildup to increase its lifespan. When food pans are covered, water levels are maintained, and foods are regularly stirred, items can be held above 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Vollrath 38205 hot food table is made of 20-gauge stainless steel top and bottom, and its legs are made of 16-gauge stainless steel; together, these components withstand the chips and scratches that come from frequent use. The legs can adjust to account for uneven flooring surfaces, minimizing rocking risk. Structured to streamline user maintenance, each well includes a brass drain valve, while a low-water indicator light notifies operators when water levels need to be filled. For long-term installation in an event venue, cafeteria, or buffet, it measures 76 inches wide by 29¹⁄₂ inches deep by 34 inches high.
