Built with a high-efficiency electric heating system, the Groen GSSP-BL-5E SmartSteam® Pro convection steamer provides consistent steam generation for commercial kitchens. This tabletop unit accommodates five 12-inch by 20-inch by 21⁄2-inch deep pans, making it suitable for high-volume food preparation. A 12 kW external heating element delivers 2.4 kW per pan, while a 21/2-gallon atmospheric steam reservoir enables continuous operation. A side-mounted convection fan distributes heat evenly to optimize cooking results.
Groen’s GSSP-BL-5E convection steamer is designed with a water-resistant touch screen control system, offering intuitive operation and system monitoring. Features include 10 nameable pan timers, an automatic holding function, and self-diagnostics for performance tracking. A hands-free, field-reversible door secures shut upon closing, and a hidden switch deactivates the blower fan and steam reservoir when opened. Maintenance is streamlined with a removable steam lid that improves recovery times and a programmable delime schedule for guided cleaning. A USB port enables firmware updates and service access.
