Groen (2)HY-3E Description
The Groen (2)HY-3E HyperSteam™ convection steamer comes with two compartments, accommodating six 12-inch by 20-inch by 21⁄2-inch pans. Durable and rust resistant, the cavities and cabinet are constructed of stainless steel, while removable side panels provide users with maintenance access to the internal components. Field-reversible stainless steel doors accommodate the user, and underneath the doors are stainless steel condensate trays for catching liquids. Simplifying cleaning, the stainless steel pan support racks are removable.
The Groen (2)HY-3E floor model steamer's cavities have their own steam generators, mounted on the rear and electronically heated, while side-mounted blowers circulate this steam throughout the cavities. Heating elements can be replaced from the side, and the generators automatically drain once the unit has been powered off. Indicator lights alert the user to lime buildup on the generators, and an auto-clean button initiates the deliming cycle. Though this unit has an operating temperature of 212 degrees Fahrenheit, it will shut off if water gets too low.
