With its 18-inch diameter, the American Metalcraft A2018 pizza pan is designed to be used with extra-large pizzas. Because of its 1⁄2-inch depth, it works best with thin-crust and hand-tossed pizzas; this short rim also promotes one-pan service from the oven to the table. It's made of standard-weight, 18-gauge aluminum—a metal that encourages even heat distribution during baking. This material isn't safe in dishmachine, so it should be washed by hand with an aluminum-safe solution.
