Operators can set the temperature between 35.6 and 46.4 degrees Fahrenheit using precise microprocessor digital controls. This unit comes with an NIST-calibrated data logger and features an automatic defrost to prevent ice buildup.

The Accucold ARS12PVDL2B vaccine refrigerator is equipped with an access port that enables operators to connect their own monitoring equipment. To ensure sensitive materials remain at safe levels, it features audible and visual alarms to alert users if temperatures fall outside of the set range. Providing additional safety, it also features alarms to indicate a power failure, a sensor failure, or an open door. To minimize germ spread, this unit's door handle is coated with antimicrobial silver ions.
