To meet CDC and VFC guidelines, the Accucold ARG18PVDL2B Performance Pharma-Vac refrigerator holds various vaccines, medications, and pharmacy supplies at safe temperatures. Its bottom-mount, self-contained refrigeration system operates with eco-friendly R290a hydrocarbon refrigerant to produce and maintain temperatures between 35.6 and 46.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Staff can adjust the interior temperature with the intelligent microprocessor as inventory changes. A separate temperature probe gauges interior temperatures and provides a continuous readout within 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit of the actual temperature for accuracy.

If the refrigerator's temperature rises or drops out of the set temperature range, visual and audible alarms alert the operator. This unit is equipped with an automatic defrost mechanism to minimize temperature spikes and ice buildup. A digital data logger provides a large LCD readout of current, high/low temperatures and programmable logging intervals, and to keep a record of trends, its internal memory and USB drive offers virtually unlimited storage.

Its right-hinged, double-pane glass door ensures staff have a full view of the LED-lighted interior to quickly assess inventory. Its door is built with a keyed lock to deter tampering or theft and includes two keys. The door's handle is powder coated with silver ions to inhibit germ growth between cleanings. If the door is left open for longer than 4 minutes, an alarm sounds to reduce the risk of unexpected temperature changes.
