The refrigerated base of the Continental SW48N8-D sandwich prep table includes four stainless steel roll-out drawers, each accommodating either one 12-inch by 18-inch by 6-inch pan or a combination of one 1/2-size and one 1/3-size 6-inch pans (supplied by others). The drawers feature smooth, polished chrome handles and Santoprene™ magnetic snap-in gaskets for a secure seal to maintain consistent temperatures. Its 2-inch non-CFC polyurethane foam insulation reduces energy consumption while retaining cold air. The rear-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant for efficient and eco-friendly cooling. The off-cycle defrost system and automatic hot gas condensate evaporator reduce staff intervention as they work to reduce frost and moisture buildup. The unit’s 5-inch casters enhance mobility, making it easy to reposition or clean in fast-paced environments.
