The Continental SW48N10 sandwich/salad prep table offers a practical solution for high-demand commercial kitchens, combining durable construction with efficient storage. Manufactured with a stainless-steel top, front, and end panels, the unit is durable enough for daily use in busy environments, while the aluminum back and interior contribute to its lightweight construction. Two field-rehingeable, spring-loaded, self-closing doors enhance flexibility for installation and secure ingredient storage. This standard top unit includes a 12-inch-deep, full-length nylon cutting board, providing a dedicated workspace for assembling sandwiches, salads, and more. Designed to accommodate (10) 1⁄6-size recessed pans, each 4 inches deep, the prep table ensures ingredients are organized and accessible during service.
The refrigerated base of the Continental SW48N10 prep table is engineered to maintain consistent temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit using a rear-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system. A unique airflow distribution system ensures even cooling, while off-cycle defrost and an automatic hot gas condensate evaporator prevent ice buildup and manage moisture efficiently. Insulated with 2-inch non-CFC polyurethane foam, the base retains cold air effectively, minimizing energy use. Smooth, polished chrome door handles, a removable interior tub beneath the pans, and 5-inch casters enhance usability and cleaning, while the fully enclosed, vented, and removable case back simplifies maintenance. Heavy-duty, additional steel shelves provide extra storage for bulk ingredients, while magnetic snap-in Santoprene™ gaskets create an airtight seal to preserve freshness.
