This freezer is constructed of stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance, while the wire shelves feature an epoxy coating that withstands extremely low temperatures. The snap-in door gaskets and 3-inch polyurethane foam insulation traps in cold air, while the cylinder door locks inhibit tampering and support product control.

The Continental D1FXNSSHD freezer’s refrigeration system uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—a more eco-friendly option than traditional ones—and utilizes an electric defrost and hot gas condensate evaporator. Built with digital thermostatic controls, operators can make quick adjustments to the unit’s holding temperature between 0 and -10 degrees Fahrenheit. For temperature surveillance, this freezer has a high/low alarm and external temperature readout.
