The Continental 3F-PT-HD three-section freezer features a pass-thru design ideal for placement in the center of a kitchen. The large size is great for operations looking to expand preexisting common storage or that don't have room for traditional large freezer storage. Overall, the unit measures 78 inches wide by 38³/₄ inches deep by 85³/₄ inches high and is made with a stainless steel front and aluminum sides and interior. Both metals are durable and corrosion resistant, and the unit has 3 inches of polyurethane foam insulation for additional temperature retention.

Mounted atop the Continental 3F-PT-HD reach-in freezer is the self-contained refrigeration system; this positioning reduces debris intake and avoids taking up interior space. It uses R404a refrigerant—a hydrofluorocarbon—to cool the unit to the temperatures set by the electronic controls. To reduce recovery times and divide the cabinet into manageable sections, the unit has 12 self-closing half-height doors— six on each side. These doors are solid and have polished chrome handles.
