The Ice-O-Matic GEM0956A/B40PS ice machine with bin has an air-cooled, self-contained condenser. The auger and evaporator are made of stainless steel to resist corrosion and rust, and the unit has a durable stainless steel finish. A popular choice for customers, this machine makes soft, chewable nugget ice. A Water Sensor monitors how much water is remaining in the unit to inform users, and SystemSafe technology reports issues to prevent further damage.

To resist corrosion, the Ice-O-Matic GEM0956A/B40PS ice maker's bin is lined with polyethylene. It's also insulated with foam to prevent ice from melting while it's stored. Holding 344 pounds of ice, the bin can be accessed behind a top-hinged, sloped front door. It's positioned on 6-inch legs to stabilize on uneven floors, and the exterior is durable aluminum.
