To accommodate high-traffic fast food chains, restaurants, and cafes, the Ice-O-Matic CIM0430HAS Elevation Series™ half-cube ice maker can generate as much as 435 pounds of ice in 24 hours when ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Half-cube ice displaces a larger amount of liquid than full-cube ice, so it can save the operator money on beverages, and it also cools a drink faster than full-cube ice. To ensure it maintains the right temperatures for large volumes of ice production, it uses R404A refrigerant and is air cooled. For flexible installation, it releases hot air from the top and side.

The Ice-O-Matic CIM0430HAS ice machine head measures 30.25 inches wide by 24.25 inches deep by 21.25 inches high to fit atop an ice storage bin (sold separately). To ensure internal components are sanitary, its smart LED light displays machine status and indicates when it needs to be cleaned. It can be sanitized and descaled with the one-touch control, while Agion® antimicrobial built into the key components slows bacterial growth until the next cleaning. Its components can be removed for washing in a dishmachine, and its plastic food zone can be wiped down quickly because it doesn't have any hard-to-reach corners. For simplified installation, it is a self-contained unit, and its Universal Smart Harness™ control board provides digital diagnostics to streamline servicing.
