The Cambro CPMU244867V5480 Camshelving® Premium mobile shelving unit's 48-inch by 24-inch by 67-inch footprint is made up of five vented shelves. These shelf plates have a gapped design, promoting air circulation around stored products to maintain uniform storage temperatures while reducing dust and moisture buildup. The shelves are made of polypropylene—a durable plastic that resists moisture, chemical, food acid, and humidity damage. Because this material has a smooth surface, it can be wiped down or cleaned in a commercial dishwasher. Protected from mold and bacterial growth by Camguard® antimicrobial agent, the shelves won't stain, retain odors, or degrade over time.

Because this Cambro CPMU244867V5480 starter shelving unit withstands temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it can be used in dishrooms, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, and dry storage pantries. It comes with four 5-inch premium braking swivel casters so operators can transport it to these areas when necessary. This shelf is part of the high-quality Premium series, so it's easier to assemble than Cambro's Elements and Basics Plus models. In this series, dovetail joints are molded into the components and don't need to be added on site, and the polypropylene-finished steel traverses and posts accommodate high-volume storage as heavy as 750 pounds.
