Ideal for perishables and bulk ingredients, the Cambro CPA184872V5480 Camshelving® Premium add-on shelving unit is comprised of five levels of vented shelf plates. Their slotted structures improve airflow to eliminate moisture and dust. Each 48-inch-wide by 18-inch-deep shelf can support 800 pounds, but the unit has a 2,000-pound full-load capacity. To preserve the shelves' speckled gray appearance, their polypropylene construction resists corrosion and rust, is impervious to harsh chemicals and saltwater, and is treated with antimicrobial protection that inhibits fungal and bacterial growth that otherwise could form stains or odors. To keep the shelves sanitary throughout use, they can be wiped clean or washed in a dishmachine.

This Cambro CPA184872V5480 add-on shelving unit measures 48 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 72 inches high and includes traverses, dovetails, and a preassembled post kit to expedite attachment to a Premium starter shelving system. Unlike dovetails in the Cambro's Elements and Basics Plus series, the Premium series' dovetails are molded into the steel and polypropylene posts to eliminate a step in setup. The traverses and posts have steel cores and polypropylene coatings that resist rust and corrosion, even in humid environments. This unit can be fastened to a starter unit located in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
