Engineered to extend a Camshelving® Premium starter shelving unit, this Cambro CPA245484V5PKG Camshelving Premium add-on shelving unit can be fastened to the original unit using the included traverses, dovetails, and post kit. These components enable operators to attach the add-on shelving unit in T-, L-, and U-shaped configurations or in a straight line. Although the post kit isn't assembled, the dovetails are molded into the posts to eliminate a time-consuming task, which distinguishes it from Cambro's Elements and Basics Plus units. To match the starter unit, it's speckled gray, and it measures 54 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 84 inches high once it's assembled. To avoid storage limitations, it endures temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit for use in normal storage areas, such as walk-in coolers or freezers and pantries. Because the posts and traverses have steel cores with polypropylene coatings, they resist rust and corrosion if they are stored in humid environments.

Built to support heavy boxes and withstand daily deliveries, the Cambro CPA245484V5PKG add-on shelving unit accommodates 2,000 pounds at its full-load capacity. Each shelf can support 800 pounds, and for lasting use, the shelves have corrosion- and rust-resistant polypropylene constructions that withstand saltwater and harsh chemicals and contain antimicrobial protection to hinder bacterial and fungal growth between standard cleanings. When the shelves need to be sanitized, they can be wiped clean or washed in a dishmachine. Bulk ingredients and produce can be stored safely on these louvered shelves since air can pass through their slotted surfaces and circulate uniformly, minimizing dust and moisture buildup.
